I don't know about anyone els, but the first time I tried to check the oil. I had to do it 3 time because the marking on the dipstick are faint. So I did what was done on my old Chevy truck and drilled 2 holes, 1 at each level. So now all I have to do is see what holes are covered.

Thats a good idea. I suppose the oil just fills in the holes.

The oil is so clean on mine (218 miles) that it's hard to see....the markings on mine are OK, however. Have you changed your oil yet ? Any trouble finding the 0W40 Mobil 1 Full Synthetic in your area ?
