coolant types

Today I installed a new radiator, and replaced only the amount of fluid that came out. I put in Mopar fluid that is recomended by the dealer that was pink. What was in the KJ was orange-ish, don't know the type. Is this going to be o.k.? Comments?

If it was mopar it was correct. It should be HOAT and only HOAT.

I've seen HOAT in a few different colors - the MOPAR stuff you got is definitely right though.

what about putting it on top of the orange coolant, has anyone seen Mopar in orange?

Yes,I have about a gallon of it.

Thank you, gonna call the mechanic I had work on it tomorow and see if he has a record of what he put in it.
