Only real gain will come from gears
The 3.7 makes the power it makes and not much more
this was ,believe it or not, 1 thing that sucked me into
the VW
The 2.0T engine makes 200hp and 205lbft of torque
There is a porche/VW shop 30 miles from the house
that can do an ECM upgrade to pull 240hp+ and
235lbft+ of torque
It is amazing what you can do with a turbo or super charger
and a capable engine
it would be very cool to have a 250hp 2600lb compact SUV
that would give it more HP per LB of car than a mustang GT

Slightly North of the 49° th. Parallel... In HongC
Whats involved in swapping out to 4:10 gears?
Super expensive? Available?

Costs $$$$.$$!
Do a search here, it's been covered recently.

ill just leave it a-lone and just reprogram the speedometer to not be 5mph off.

A Pinion reset is a very good idea.
Works wonders for the trannies shifting as well.

setting gears sure does suck A$$ but its well worth it after you have 2 true tracks in and confidence that my wife wont loose control even with her lead foot in the pouring rain.

I loved the DTT up front when I still had IFS.Sadly it was a no-go for 35" tires but loving the ARB up front after getting used to it.The only thing that ***** is you have to engage the rear locker 1st before you can engage the front, sometimes I just want the front locked.
