My jeep has been acting up will not idle correctly and will die if you are not going very fast. It showed error code saying cylinder 2 was out replaced coil and the plugs. It is still shows the same error. Any ideas? It also will not idle unless you press on the gas for long periods of time and when it does idle it sounds like it is missing.

First thing that comes to my mind is IAC or intake. No air at idle (or strangled air) means less air to the cylinders which could causing missing on any cylinder. Just a guess. Next guess would be 1 or both cats.

clogged fuel injector??
Could be bad luck and the replacement ignition coil is bad too. Move one of the coils you know is good to cylinder 2, and see if the code moves to the cylinder where you moved the former #2 coil.
