Hi guys. I searched all over google, and this forum.
My issue is that i just got my clutch replaced on my liberty 5 speed. i have a 3.7 engine also.
Whats going on is the clutch pedal has no feel to it anymore. Its almost like theres no resistance or friction in the movement of the clutch it self.
The engagement point in the travel is the same, but its like i have to re-learn the feel of my clutch now.

According to the work order, the friction plate, pilot bearing and throw out bearing were replaced. and flywheel resurfaced.

I hope someone can explain this to me. Cause im sure im not the only one who hates when the 'feel' something changes in your daily driver and makes it feel alien to you haha. thanks

Had this same feel on a honda civic I owned after clutch replacement. Just means it's new and is normal. You prob. just got use to the old crap! I'm sure it will stiff'n up a little more after awhile.

As long as it shifts smooth, you should be fine. I had an older Talon with a stiff clutch, while my cousin had a newer Eclipse that felt like it had 0 resistance (with new clutch).

Kind of comparing apples to oranges, but if it shifts smooth I'd say you're okay.

My clutch pedal got a much firmer feel when I had mine replaced. Still works the same, just feels different. I guess it's common - I wouldn't sweat it.
