Hi all. Get this. I was just told by my local Jeep dealer that I had to buy the entire climate control assembly for my 06 Liberty to get the 2 neo wedge bulbs. I said are you sure? He said yep , and the parts manager confirmed that. Is this true? I said "so I have to buy the entire instrument panel to get the bulbs for that also?". He said no that he had part numbers for that. Anyway, I've narrowed it down that it's either a T4 or T5 neo wedge bulb. Wondering if anyone can help me with that? When I took out the old bulb it had like a blue plastic coating on the bulb. Not sure why blue except for effect instead of a plain glass bulb. I've seen the T4's and 5's for sale on ebay and other bulb sites.
I figured I would just replace the 2 bulbs with blue LED's but I need to find out if mine is a T4 or T5. Any help is mucho appreciated. Thanks. PK

Somewhere on LOST there was a post where someone replaced their dash lights AND the climate control lights (with LEDs). So it's clearly possible. T4 sounds familiar but don't take my word for it. Hope that helps just a little bit.

I took out the bad bulb took it to the dealer and the parts guy just match it up but it was pricey if I remember correctly. Never even told him what it was for.
