clevis location on strut ?

Ive read about people doing a clevis lift , but yesterday I was looking at my 06 and the clevis is all ready at the bottom of the strut. is this stock or did some one move it?
at least that's what I think I was looking at. LOL
this is my first jeep.

The clevis is attached to the bottom of the front "shock" it attachs the shock to the lower control arm
To do a clevis lift you raise the shock up out of the clevis 3/8 of an inch
