The last I knew they were making them for 02-04 only. None for 05 and up. I have also looked and can't find them for my 05. I would also be interested if someone starts making them.

Is there anyway we can get a blue print or something for that. Or do I have to buy the stock ones and get their templates. Maybe I can produce these over in China and start selling them..

yes that would be awesome. i love the way they look on the 02-04 and i think it would be a good investment to get some people including me:D to start workin on this project or somehow put it into effect. On my brother grandprix all he had to do was bust the yellow reflector and instant clear corners and they look really good..im not lookin at my lib right now but is that the same concept or is the whole lens actually yellow instead of just the inside reflector(if anyone is following) lol!

Won't work with the KJ (I came from the Prix world, so I know what you're talking about)...the Prix had the clear outer lens and then an inner amber one. The KJ's is just 1 layer of amber.

Well, that's it then...I just received an email from anzousa.com regarding the availability of clear corners for the 05-07 KJ:

" We are not longer carry clear corner for Jeep Liberty due to D.O.T compliant issue and we do not have any ETA for new version. Please check back with us in the near future for any update.

Sincerely,
AnzoUSA."

Oh really? the 02-04 KJ is DOT compliant, but somehow you can't make the 05-07 compliant? Ridiculous. I'm pissed. My KJ would look much cleaner with clear corners.

I think it is a technicality. I think DOT told them they were not compliant because they were clear and they stopped making them??? Right now you have amber corners and clear bulbs behind them......so if you put clear corners on and leave the clear bulbs in then you are NOT DOT compliant. You need to change the bulbs to amber so the turn signal will be amber when it is blinking......or something like that.

Dave, you are correct! And I have done that very thing..in cars that actually had the clear corners available. I just think they are being short-sighted in not producing clear corners for the 05-07 KJ, since there would be a market for it. Ooooh well. I'll have to console myself by spending money on something else!

It's too bad really, I'm sure someone will start manufacturing 05-07 clear corners in the near future.
I did see some pretty slick mirrored glass turn signal bulbs that are virtually invisible once installed behind clear marker lens. When they light up they burn bright amber or orange for the side marker.

I just started a project to make clear turn signal lenses for my 05 Jeep Liberty. Basically I'm going to use Silicone RTV rubber to make a mold of the factory amber lens and then I'm going to cast a clear lens from that mold using clear casting resin. I'll try to post every once in a while to say how far along I am in the process. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or if you want to see photos of the molding/casting process.

If it were a DOT thing like he says, they wouldn't be making lenses for any vehicle. jmho

clear corner, and or parking lamps are not DOT compliant for any vehicle unless they are equipped with amber sidemarker reflectors. FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 108, "LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT." states that all vehicles in the US must have front and rear sidemarker lights and front amber retro-Reflectors. Most places do not enforce this as long as you have amber lamps but they are in fact illegal in the US. The only way the companies get away with selling them is because they put "For off-road Use only" on them.
