CH 8.25 ring gear bolts

There seems to be 2 bolt sizes for the ring gear, 3/8 early MY 02-04/5?,and 10mm late MY 05/6-07?.
Having trouble sourcing locally a late MY ring gear.

Can the early one be used in an 07 using the 3/8 bolts?
Holes line up ok with carrier?
