The only thing that web site fails to mention is that your headlamp bulbs burn out faster.
Unless you know your way around vehicle electrics...Leave your factory wiring harness alone before something shorts and you have a melt down under the hood.
I mean really, just because it's for sale and has what appears to be "Factory style" conectors doesn't mean it's any good.
Hey, this might also interest you!

I'm sure people will chime in and say what a great product it is... Yap yap yap.
Buy a quality set of driving lights for the same amount of money and be done with it.

Somewhere between being sane and insane!
Not to mention it's illegal in the US to run fog/driving lights with high beams, that's why OEM fogs/driving lights automatically turn off when you click to brights even if the fog/driving light switch is still on.

In my opinion I would leave the factory lighting alone. With cars being more and more controlled by computers now a days if you messed up the electrical with a shortout or something. Your jeep can be screwed. I've seen Electrical systems get fried from Jumping another car (Happened to my mothers) So I won't even jump anyone. If they ask i say sorry to hear that. call Triple A.

I wanted more light with my high beams too so I added an AUX pair of lights on my bumper and now I don't even turn on my High beams. I just have the AUX lights angled to cover the dist of what the high beams would. I don't think this is a legal option in the U.S. either but It's better than rewiring your stock lights.

Of course my AUX lights "should" be wired to shut off when the highbeams come on like the factory fogs but i dont have them that way. I think you can get away with that b/c there not stock lights. If not, during inspection time i'll pull the fuss on them and say they don't work. lol :D

That thing sounds neat but it is also pricey. Also, personally speaking I would rather get 2 Hella's and mount them on the front like the 04 Renne's had and wire them seperately with their own fuse and switch. That way you could turn them on or off whenever you wanted no matter what other lights were on or off. And then like ChiefRudy said, you wouldn't be messing with the factory wireing.

Right now I have no plans on buying this thing, nor do I have any plans on doing anything with the lighting.

However, if I were thinking about modifying the lighting on my factory harness like some have done, I might seriously consider this as an alternative.
