I have an 06 sport that is acting up. My mechanic pulled a communication error code ( dont know which one) a few weeks ago because my abs light s were on. Now I don't have any lights on but at speed or when accelerating it feels like my brakes are coming on intermittently. Any suggestions on where to start? Rest of story...about 2 weeks before the warning lights came on I was buried to the bottom of the doors in beach sand trying to launch my boat at a "really good" remote launch. Any help would be great. thanks maltb

When my alignment was Off the esp was bugging out on the road but a wheel speed sensor might do that but I really don't know.

What'd poor Will do to the brakes to make them come on at him?

you may have sand packed into your wheel speed sensors, and you may have an alignment issue like bubba said.

Is there any way you can get the code?

I've had wheel sensor problems before, but a wheel sensor code always came up. This time the code was communication error. I'll try to get the number tomorrow.

A "communications" error, may be just that. ChecK the wiring to the sensors. If buried to the doors, you may have compromized the insulation on the wires, or got water in the connectors or???

they're all related; take the sensor itself out and clean it, then clean the tone ring.

Haven't worked on any '06-7s so not totally sure if it's an open tone ring, tjkj should be able to chime in.
