brake job question

anyone know how big of a clamp i'll need to compress the caliper on the front brakes? i've done it before, but cant remember what i used. i think it may have been a drywall clamp of all things!!! and will i need to bleed the system, i know i didnt do it last time and everything was A OK...

I can't remember the size clamp i used last time either...but as far as bleeding, you shouldn't have to. just remember to take the cap off the brake fluid resivoir and put an old rag over it or something.

I use a huge pair of Channel Lock pliers. Works great.

x2. Channel Locks are handy for all sorts of things. I've also used one of those Irwin "quick grip" bar clamps. Worked pretty well.
