1250 Watts!

Just following this thread and bought my 04 Kj last summer in Vancouver Canada. When I asked the dealer if it had a block heater they looked at the build sheet, and stated it did not have one. Today I replaced the spark plugs and while moving the stuff out of the way to access the left coil packs I found the block heater cord. It is plugged into the passenger side front on 3.7 4x4 and the cord is long enough to reach around the air box and can be slung around head light to be plugged in from there. I guess it is true that all KJ's shipped to Canada come with one.
So there is a tag and specifications, so here is the info:
10 Amps-1250 Watts-125Volts- #LL55642-947
Wish I knew I had one ,could have plugged in last winter when we hit 18 below. I did have a GM car heater running inside for 1 hour after clearing the snow, and the interior was toasty but a block heater run for an hour makes the engine start easy and gets you interior heat quickly.
If I was leaving the Kj parked outside in even -25 I would also consider a battery blanket and leave the block heater on all night with synthetic oil only.
