I went to Tire Rack's website knowing they sell wheels also, and punched in my KJ, these were the only 2 choices they have:

Then I punched in an 04 Wrangler Rubicon knowing that these will fit without a problem and came up with 8 different choices:

Do they not realize the 8" wheel will also fit our KJ's? Or am I not seeing something here? I really like these:

They're also stating recommended tire size for these wheels are a 235/70/16, will they even mount?

This is my experience with 235/70/16's and 8" Moabs, they wouldn't bead properly. Now I blame that on the rims, not the tires. The Moabs have a very sharp 90 degree edge that the tire bead just wouldn't slide up and over to seat in the bead.

I would think you should have no problems with a regular style rim.
