ball joint HF tool?

looking to replace my lower ball joints and wanted to see if anyone used the HF ball joint tool? Four Wheel Drive Ball Joint Service Kit

I rented a ball joint press from advance auto parts with their tool loan program. I think I had to put 100 dollars down but got it all back when I returned the press.

It looked the same but was free to use.
