Squeaks...bushings...& front stabilizer bar links.
Does it squeak if you bounce the front end up & down by hand? (springs?)
Ball Joints are another matter, but the worse sound they make as they break, is crunch bang boom as the jeep looses control as then the wheel lays in an awkward position!
Lower control ball joints have been recalled and offer free replacement.
What year KJ you got?

its an 02 sport. when i turn the steering wheel back and forth, i can hear it and spot it coming from the lower bushing looking ufo pads on both sides...cant think of wht they are for sure. look like 2 disc pads stacked on top of each other, on the bottom connecting to the wheel.
