Im looking at some rims that are 16x8 with 4.5'' of backspacing.I was wondering if that would cause major rubbing issues? If so, what would i do to minimize the rubbing? Also my tire size is 245/75/16.Thanks

these rims are at a good deal so id really like them to work. What problem is the 8'' vs the 7''? and what about rubbing?

8s are a little to wide. libertys work perfectly with 7s and 4.5 backspacing. you can do 8s if you want but odds are your going to listen to a lot of rubbing

I'm running 5.5" backspace wheels (15x8) with 1" spacers (making them 4.5"), and 31x10.50 tires. Tires rub at full lock with my Frankenlift, but I like the wider stance and the rubbing is minimal. I just ordered some Pro Comp 8128 (16x8 4.5" backspace) wheels to replace the ones I have now, but they are on backorder for another month!
