Sorry to post for LOST over here, but if you could not tell yet, LOST has been AWOL the last week. Unfortunately, it is the week before our big semi-annual event. (Friday October 24- Sunday 26th.)

Well, most people no where to go and what to do, but if you don't-- here is the deal:

Event is: Friday Night (the 24th of Oct), Saturday and (optionally) Sunday morning...

Bring Chili to share, food and drinks, and all needed camping gear. Remember to dress your Jeep up in a costume.

Head to Benson (Dragoon) on the 10.

Coming from Phoenix:

Go through Tuscon another 30 miles on the 10. Go through Benson. After Benson, take the Dragoon Road Exit. Go East to highway 191.

Turn South on 191.

Take South 191 to Ironwood Road (before sunsites).

Turn right on Ironwood towards the mountain.

Before the main campground, turn on the sideroads. While not sure, if memory serves correctly, you will turn on road 84b, but the sign is partially blocked by tree anyhow.

You can find it by turning where the yellow "Smokey Bear" sign is. Turn right before turn. Follow yellow tape and LOST signs.

If you need any help, PM me.

Thanks,

Pablo

Wow my second KJ Country post!!!
I'm still in-- will be there midday or so -- lot of last minute packing- pulled a 13 hour shift today and boss was asking me to postphone time off. I told him NO!
Looking forward to seeing everyone and Jeeping to the Ghost towns and getting lunch at Big Nose Kate's in Tombstone.
EVERYONE still needs to make this event even if LOST's server is down.
And of course EVERYONE is welcome!! It will be fun!:D

We're back home from Trick or Jeep 2008. Mike, Vern... thanks for putting on a great event, with great people and great chili!!! Can't wait to do it again next year.

Thanks again to everyone for a great trip... #3 (formerly known as AZKJ)

It took me 4~5 tries to make it up this hill. The lifted guys tried it and made it up in one attempt, AFTER I wore down the crest at the top... :D

Naw, you just click on them and they open up to a decent size. Now I have a question - is that a Sammy in the first pic? If so who's was it?

Somehow my white balance setting on the camera got screwed up. Here are a few more pics I was able to salvage using photochop.

Team Leader... okay, you got me on the shenanigans, but how about trading in Beth's KJ for a new hardtop JK???

Shenanigans again!!!

Sold my Crossfire and TJ and bought the new JK today. Gotta put some BFG Mud Terrains on next week and we'll be good to go. Looks like we'll be giving Beth's KJ a rest and do some wheeling in the JK. Glad that the L.O.S.T. guys aren't that strict on TJ's or JK's tagging along. LOL... deep down, you know Liberty guys like having a Wrangler or two around to help pull them out of the tough spots. Anyway, that's what a certain Rubicon driver, that hosts chili fests told me on the side.... :D

Very good looking Jeep Number 3- I like the color.
Recently a prominent officer of the chapter had said to me that All 4WD type vehicles are happily accepted to the club- sort of the capture of jeepers/off roaders who are too stock or not modified enough to be keeping up with some of those other quasi- rock crawler type jeep rides and LOSTAZ is a way for people to be a group as well as their interest in 4WD's. Yeah a soical off road vehicle club that puts people up there as well as their rides!

Roland... exactly. Beth and i have said over and over, of the car/Jeep clubs we've run with, the folks from L.O.S.T. and JeepKJ Country are the best. We look forward to each run.

Thanks for the comments on the new JK...
