drivers and passenger fronts should both automatic down...

but, yeah - it would be great to have them all be able to do that... and even better still to have a button for them all to go automatically up! (biggthumpup)

Front two will do that but I never use it. Personally I think thats one of the things that leads to broken regulators. That and putting the windows up and holding the switch for 5min after it reaches the top.

From the schematics it looks like if you took a spare power window master switch apart you could wiring something together to provide "auto down" to the rear windows.

Yeah I'd be worried bout' blowin the regulators if they all came up automatically...

I wish these were designed a little better, my ol' 94' F150's power windows seem bulletproof.

Yeah, older Jeeps have real power windows too. Our ZJ has all steel, none of that plastic junk.

I have A/C.
The windows never get used, they stay closed.
That and I don't sit in the back seat.
Nobody does for that matter.

What about when you need to swear at some a-hole?

I drive like an old man. Maybe 5-10 Km over the speed limit.

It's usually the other drivers flipping me the bird and screaming profanities at us like a Banshee!:D

The switches for the auto-down are not the same internally is the other ones. I seen one like them, taken apart, and they have two other metal pieces and contacts in the switch, to latch the circuit until down all the way...

so it would not be as simple as just popping out the switch and replacing with an automatic one.

I know that our 2004 power window switches are a one piece plastic module for all four window switches!

I wanted to move the window switches to where the power door lock switches are and re-locate the door lock switches under the rear window switches.

It could be done... but too much work!
So I just got used to the window controls on the centre console and the power door lock switches on the doors.

LOL ... I had to gamble that you had... A. seen an episode of Seinfeld (big gamble) and B. possessed the standard self deprecating Canadian sense of humour. :D

All the best
