automatic door locks on/off? on 02 rene

im sure this has been asked before but i looked and couldnt find any anwsers.... i have read that you can actually turn the automatic door locks on and off on an 02 but i have looked though my owners manual for the procedure and i have looked here online and have had bad luck.... does anyone out there know the procedure to turn them OFF? if so could you please let me know how to do it?

From what I understand, that feature is only selectable with an EVIC/OTIS console. Otherwise I would assume that it's a no-go.

In 02' and 03' it's a DRBIII feature... since '04 goes thru EVIC

thanks alot guys sorry but i think i got it now.... my best friend has a dealer computer that can unprogram it with... 1 more question? does anyone know if an EVIC can be installed on my rene even though it wasnt equipped from the factory? and if so does anyone know how hard it is?

You can use the keyfob to set things like the "sentry lights" and you can set the automatic door locks without an EVIC or DRB3
