BigRich, one last question for you...

The piece in the center where the holes are drilled for adding lights, what is the shape of that piece, is it a C shaped channel or?

I was looking at that and i'm trying to decide how to make the wiring as hidden as much as possible when i toss on a pair of Hella's.

I can see that comes down in the front, i assume its a piece of channel because you need access to the bolts on the bottom side. Thinking i might drill a second hole by each bolt hole to insert a rubber grommet to pass the wiring through to hide it.

no it doesnt wrap around underneath. it just has that little curve and thats it

Ok, then that would work without drilling holes, could go back around underneath to cross the wiring from the passenger side to the driver side, and the go into the grill from there. Plan on making up a harness and covering it nice and neat, etc..

Need to impose on you for one more answer if i may!!

I got one of those guards coming, but working on getting things ready for its arrival. Can you tell me what the distance is between the light mounting holes, and how far the holes are from the back edge of the piece they are in?

I'm working on assembling a custom wiring harness in advance!
