Hey ya'll I have a 2004 Liberty limited with 148k, Always maintained down to the oil change by dealer until now. I have this annoying noise coming from belts/ pulley area. Could it be tensioners or belts? I bealive if I remove the belts i can inspect the tensioner? I am quite familiar with e46 bmw's but nevers touched the jeep engine before, so any videos tips tricks would be great. Thanks all

here is the associated video that I have taken today below link===

Sounds like the bearing on the alt. I'd take the belt off and turn the pullys by hand should be able to feel what pullys are bad. Check them all also would be a good time to change the belt and tenchioner as well if it has never been done. This would also leave you a spare belt for emergencies.

Sounds a bit like the sound that my 2003 was making just before the magic smoke went out of the AC compressor clutch/pulley assembly. A friend and I just unhooked the compressor for right now (since it's the winter) using a shorter belt. It seems to be an incredibly common problem.
