I want to try mounting the upper ball joints to the bottom of our JBA
upper control arms to see if it nets me any more lift.

I'm sure it has been done before and if so I'd like to see photographs
of that modification.
I've seen it done on other makes of 4X4's...

I'm sure it will more than likely add stress to the ball joint but I am willing to sacrifice a set of ball joints to see if it works.

Of course I'll use it just around the local Mall and go over a few curbs and 2X4's to start with. (I'll wear dark sunglasses so nobody can ID me!:D

Am I nuts?

Just and idea which most likely won't get done anyway!;)

Moving the UBJs to under the arm will not give you more lift at all, it would lessen the amount of the angle of the arms in relationship to the knuckle etc but no more lift.
Once you really look at them I'm sure you'll see
I've looked at them and wouldn't do it personally
***NOTE:
but then I haven't been to a mall since my wife went back to Tanzania in December 08 :happy175:

Be careful what you wish for Mr. Mudd ... lmao

P.S. I found myself re-telling the story of how you got your name a couple weeks ago ... which resulted in a chorus of laughter :D
