Figured the WK system is almost identical to what the KJ has. It's single zone like the KJ.

So it feels like the air coming out of the passenger side vents is not being air conditioned. Driver's side air is much cooler. AC compressor is engaging and disengaging properly. There's also a sucking noise behind the dash often, but not all the time. There's plenty of air flow. All the positions work fine and the change happens quick. I did some searching and some people have had this issue and they say a recharge fixed it. Is that possible?

Any ideas?

Thanks!

HJ do you have the WK service manual?
By the sounds of it you may very well have a vacuum related issue there however...
I would recommend referring to all the A/C specifications and drivers inside vent temp specs on cool/ re circulation mode/ eg,1200rpm, with a digital meat probe ($6 at wallmart)
If it is not meeting temp spec, need AC pressure gauges connected to see what's up & a potential recharge with dye= potential leak.
With probe you will then have actual vent temps for each side as well.
Hopefully it is not an actuator /blend door problem. Don't know the WK set up for vacuum stuff there.
