Has anyone had an airbag go off while offroading? Watched a video of it happening to a guy and it made me wonder. I never thought about that happening before.

The SRS sensors are inertia switches and generally under 5-10mph the SRS system will not fire as enough inertia will not take place(unless you flip it).In 4low it reduces the sensitivity of the SRS system even further.




The SRS system is always active(drivers side only for newer models)),unless the seat belt is not latched,but they can go off for random issues like water intrusion or repeated dust intrusion.
