Accelerator pedal adjustment

Is there any way to adjust the accelerator pedal? Mine sits so low in comparison with to the brake pedal.
I'm short and urs driving me insane. Surely there's a way to do something. I've looked everywhere and so far no solution.
2003 Jeep Cherokee kj 2.8ktr crd.

They are all lower than the brake pedal, no adjustment I'm afraid, the easiest fix I can think of would be to attach a spacer block to the pedal to raise it up as much as you need, something like these..

Thanks for the reply. I'll have to look into getting one of the extenders.
