Hello to all. I have a 2005 Limited JK.
I'm just wondering if anyone has has this problem before. My AC works just fine in the city, but when I'm driving on the highway (at highway speeds) for a continued period of time the AC will stop blowing air. This only happens after a while of driving at constant highway speed. Once I exit the highway, and start driving at normal street speed, or stop at a traffic light, the AC starts blowing again. I do not think its the compressor, because I do not have any never have problems outside of the highway. This started happening at around 60,000 mi.
When the Ac starts to blow again, I can hear a mechanical sound in the ducts.
Is the problem due to the air coming in from the outside at high speeds? Is their a flap or something in the duct that's loose?
Thanks for the help.
