I thought I recalled a thread on here before detailing the process of helping the transmission 're-learn', but I can't find it.

As I said in my thread right below this one, I swapped transmissions and just wanted to check on this to see if there was a process other than just to drive it normally. I've only started it up in the driveway and let it warm up fully, and shifted in and out of each gear. Everything appears fine but I haven't driven it yet and won't until the morning.

Thanks in advance,
Shannon

Yah I read that too. I think a quick learn for break in had to be progamed in but a re-learn you had to pull the battery cables for like 20 min. Not sure how that went but for sure I would pull the cables on the battery wait reconect then take for a test drive. I know mine did some funky things after the trans was reprogramed untilled it lerned.
Hope this helps you.

The cables were disconnected for 2 days almost, so I guess just drive it and it learns, alrighty :)

Is that just for a 'quick re-learn' and it will learn fine otherwise just driving it normally? Seems to drive perfect aside from a 'jerk' when coming up to a stop and it shifts into first, but that has gotten softer each time it has done it.
