I'm going to be replacing my power steering hoses soon, which means I have to remove the serpentine belt. I figured I might as well change the belt while I'm at it (I'm not sure when, or if, it was last replaced, it could be 5 years old by now), but is it worth changing my idler pulleys too, just for the sake of it?

They're pretty cheap, so I might as well order them at the same time as the belt if it's considered a worthwhile job.

If your going to change the belt change the tensioner also as it is a wear item also and comes with both pulley's attached.

I replaced a noisy pulley (actually both) only to have the tensioner fail 3 months later.

As TJKJ said, the new tensioner includes the new pulleys already installed.
