Never had a Jeep... always fullsize trucks for me. Secretly wanted something 'small' to play with, so this is perfect - I'll get to do the mods and borrow it from time to time
One of the first mods is going to be a front bumper (ARB or ?). Deer are a real road hazard on this island. I expect with the weight I will either have to go with a spacer, clevis, or a higher rate spring. Open to suggestions here.
Been reading that the 6-spd uses the stronger NV241 t-case
I heard the front diff is on the weak side..... that's got my staring at this Ford D44ttb chunk I have sitting outside. Wonder what it would take to add a stub tube and adapt CVs to 30 spline? :icon_twisted:
