2002 Stereo problem

Getting intermittent (usually no) sound from the passenger side speakers. I've checked the wiring going to the door, replaced some resister in the pre-amp under the dash that was mentioned to me, replaced the factory head unit itself, and still nada..

Any ideas would be appreciated

Swap L&R speaker sounds like it could be a bad speaker.

I just bought a very well worn 2004 Liberty (badged as a Cherokee) and was having similar problems. It ended up being a break in the wiring harness in between the door and the body of the car. You might want to wiggle this around and see what happens. All in all, I ended up splicing 6 different wires that were shot. No problems since I fixed it.
