Hi. I have a problem and maybe someone have encountered this.

My KJ 2.4 sport manual died.
It's been sitting for 4 days and I can't start the engine now.
Fuel pump works, no spark.
There are two errors:
P1697 RMI does not read the mileage (I scanned with my software and there is 0km/miles)
P0688 - ASD.

I checked (replaced) the relays and all checked the fuses.
I only checked the cables from the fuse box and PCM organoleptically to see if they were frayed - looks good.

Have anyone had a similar incident?

Is the PCM dead?

Swap your ASD relay out with a similar one from a different circuit.

A dying battery can confuse the computers. Try charging it and tape the battery clamps together for about an hour; supposed to reset computers.

Lots of Libertys get a bad connection to the speedometer sensor(?) in the rear differential but I don't think it causes a no-start.

New battery, fuses and relayses replaced. There is no power on the injector and starter fuses.
PCM does not see the mileage.
