Been checking out the forum for a while now. Just purchased an 06 Liberty CRD with 88500 miles on it. Already has OME heavy springs front and rear, and OME shocks. Also has the green diesel eco tune. Still has the stock wheels and tires. I just order Goodyear DuraTracs 265/65R/17's with a 17X8wheel with 4.5" backspacing. I hope they fit ok. 30.6" dia.

Goodyear Duratracs are a good tire over all, just keep them rotated every 3-4000 miles and they'll do fine. Sold mine with over 90,000 on them
Should rethink your wheels 7 inch wide with that backspacing would be ok, 8 inch will cause some rubbing issues more than likely
Size wise should be fine, will lose some power and mileage

I know the pinch welds have not been hammered in yet. I just could not find any narrower wheels I liked. Did not want the MOAB's, seems like everyone is running them.

Pinch welds is only one issue with the backspacing but.......................

Took your advice and sent back wheels and tires. Am going with a stock fitment on the wheel 16X7 with 5.5bs and 245/75R16's. Thanks for the help, did not want to deal with the rub.
