Guys and Gals,
Long time reader, first time post-er.
Turbo charger recently went kaput on our 06 CRD. 53,000 miles...give or take. I kid you not, as soon as the warranty was up, the check engine light went on and it's been nothing but hassle. In the middle of full replacement of turbo. However, we need to replace the Turbo Oil Return Hose, and Chrysler has ZERO available in the nationwide dealer stock. Zero. I have searched and searched for possibilities, and have a call in to Keith at GDE for ideas - awaiting return call.
We are stalled. Chrysler has now given three dates for possibly having a hose in stock. First it was March 1st. Then it was March 14th. Now, and I kid you not, they said "April or maybe June." :freak3:
Do you guys have any experience or ideas that would help? Sources? Alternatives? How about a condom, a sock, and some mesh?
I thought I was at the peak of having great patience in the world, but my diesel vehicles keep telling me that I must achieve more still!! Both the Jeep and my Box Truck are down. Gute Lord!!!
