So ive seen a bunch of random info on this but i havent been able to get a straight answer. So i pulled a wire from my head unit and now unless the key is turned to the on position, none of the electronics work. The car runs and drives just fine but the fob gets no response. Also the radio wont turn on at all and i even swapped a different one to see if mine got fried. Not factory Head unit by the way.

Try post this in the General Forums/Electronics section further down.....they discuss head units etc. there.

I personally have a stock basic sound system so cannot advise you any further.

2006 KJ well sounds like the antitheft may be responsible or ?
You may have to consult with a local audio shop, they may be helpful?
