05 Key program problem

Have a key that is already programed for another Liberty, can I use this and re-program for mine- I have 2 keys already.
The reason is to use it in the remote start module transponder.
Tried to program the previously programed key using the directions from the manual and no luck, anyone know how to erase the current program?

You will have to visit a local locksmith with the programing, do not see a dealer, they will **** you.
For using the key part, they will have to check the cuts on the key and your key to see if they can trim it down.
