03 liberty crazy rev and stall problem , new user need help

hello people ,
i have a 03 liberty, the jeep was running great never had a problem … 2 weeks ago it stalled out at light, started back up and pulled into parking lot where it stalled again… after a few minutes it started back up and it ran fine all the way back home…
once i got it home, it would not start back up.. i opened the hood and noticed one of the wires going to the radiator fan had rubbed against the belt and shredded it up really bad, i fixed cut wires…
now when i start it , the rpms go all the way to redline and then it stalls out… thats all it will do ..
i replaced some sensors for timing and such..
still doing the same thing…
did i fry the computer.. ??
please help..

I've had stalling issues described the same way, but without any shredded parts. It happens on rare occasion and at the most random times. Any Info would be helpful!

assuming nothing is wrong with the throttle linkage, or a floor mat in the wrong place... you should pull the idle air control valve, inspect it and the seat, check the connectors. Clean the valve and seat. if it's not dirty, maybe it is internally bad.
