i have HIDS in my jeep however i went through weeks and weeks of work and about $500 in parts to do it. HIDS in normal headlights though are gross, no matter what people say, the glare is horrible. best bet is to get some really nice halogen bulbs, i used to get the sylvania xtravisions...

did you use normal brake lube on the bottom slide pin or did you use silicone brake lube on it? the normal lube makes the rubber swell. even some that say "safe for use on rubber parts" will make them swell some as well.

where did you get the shocks for that price shipped?

I've been using valeo 900 wiper blades I got on amazon for $5 a blade. I use the 18 inch blades instead of the size it tells you to get. They have been terrific blades as long as I've been using them.

i don't think you'll see -40 very often. maybe -40 every once in a while with the windchill, but not -40 straight temps. i'm pretty sure wind chill doesn't effect vehicles like it does people.

Will worn out wheel bearings always turn the abs light on? I have an 06 liberty if that makes a difference. My last car I was told that the wheel bearings will end up turning the abs light on. Just a general curious question no other reason.

i know that no cars have HID high beams in a dual bulb setup. I was referring to the adjusting of the beam by moving the shield inside the headlight that is technically a high beam. Its is just as you describe, shield moves down, lets more light out higher up than before.
