Looking to sell the custom projector headlights I did a few years ago, will included everything needed plus some instruction for install. Looking for $300 but will entertain offers. look here for details and pics!
so it seems i can't get anything i want without being punished in a equally expensive way. go my lift all on and everything was good, it was kinda scary driving it from the place the lift went on to the alignment place. at the alignment place a brake line sprung a leak (they said it looked like...
one last question, do the front lines need extended or are they good? i really wish i had the money to buy some nice stainless brake lines, its just not gonna happen so extending will get done, i'll just be careful.
so after about 2 or 3 years reading these forums and trying to save up i've finally got the money to lift it. thanks in part to a miscalculation of weddings savings in my favor and the fact that i was told i had to buy them ( my tires are dangerously close to rubbing on the inner fender wells...
is it hard on those brake lines to just bend them down like that? is there a risk of pinching them? i would love to put stainless longer lines on but, they seem kinda pricey on JBA's site. plus i'd like to have a little cash left over incase when the lift gets put on i find out something else...
Ok so this week i've finally gotten together all the parts needed to lift my jeep. now however i've been looking for information on the brake line relocation stuff. i found the thread on how to make the bracket and everything but what i can't seem to find out is what years/build dates need the...
4300k-5000k is the only color range worth using after 5000k it starts to turn blue. 4300k are what bulb every car manufacturer uses in HID equipped vehicles, because its where the HID bulbs are brightest. I made the headlights myself they are HID projectors from a Nissan Murano mounted in the...
i have HIDS in my jeep
however i went through weeks and weeks of work and about $500 in parts to do it. HIDS in normal headlights though are gross, no matter what people say, the glare is horrible. best bet is to get some really nice halogen bulbs, i used to get the sylvania xtravisions...
did you use normal brake lube on the bottom slide pin or did you use silicone brake lube on it? the normal lube makes the rubber swell. even some that say "safe for use on rubber parts" will make them swell some as well.
I've been using valeo 900 wiper blades I got on amazon for $5 a blade. I use the 18 inch blades instead of the size it tells you to get. They have been terrific blades as long as I've been using them.
the most useful range of HID is actually from about 3500k to 5500k. after about 5000k it starts to fall off and gets to the point where halogen bulbs would be brighter. i would definately change out those hid to either really good halogen bulbs, i think the philips xtremepower bulbs are the...
i don't think you'll see -40 very often. maybe -40 every once in a while with the windchill, but not -40 straight temps. i'm pretty sure wind chill doesn't effect vehicles like it does people.
Will worn out wheel bearings always turn the abs light on? I have an 06 liberty if that makes a difference. My last car I was told that the wheel bearings will end up turning the abs light on. Just a general curious question no other reason.
i know that no cars have HID high beams in a dual bulb setup. I was referring to the adjusting of the beam by moving the shield inside the headlight that is technically a high beam. Its is just as you describe, shield moves down, lets more light out higher up than before.
