Steel vs Alloy That's the opinion I had about the steel vs alloy rims; that weight is the main difference between the two and not necessarily the strength. I don't plan on doing any serious off-roading, just minor stuff so I think alloys should do fine.

35psi? Did you say you're running your KJ on Nitrogen at 35psi? Why nitrogen? I definately have to look into figuring out how to improve my fuel consumption. I envy folks who claim that their KJ gives better mileage than a CRV. KM KJ

Tire pressure I was just going to look into that.I think my tires are running at 28psi or 29psi. Bringing the tire pressure up to 33psi might help some.

Fuel Consump I don't want the fuel economy to go downhill due to heavier rims and tires. Its nt like I'm getting great mileage anyway.
