nah. Just a normal relay, but instead of hooking up a "battery" lead and output, hook it up to a ground source instead of the battery.

The relay way will definately work, just a matter of getting other ideas. What I plan on doing is putting a relay with a ground hookup right next to the 12v relay and use the same trigger to control both. I can't see why it wouldn't work, and I can't really see any other way to do it.

To get a ground signal to the dash light, you'd have to run another relay off your light switch except passing ground instead of 12v, right? Anyone else think of another way?

'02s suck. Can either choose 215/75/16 or 225/75/16. That's it. According to 3 local dealers, there are no RPM options, just those 2 fixed sizes.

I switched my original stock tires/wheels for Moabs and MT/Rs a year or so ago. Spent a year getting right around 200 miles before my low gas light came on. ('02, so smaller tank than newer models) I just worked a deal and ended up with stocks again as a second set of tires. I put the MT/Rs...

in other words, you're tires LOOK like they are pushed out 1.5" further than stock rims. They are actually .5 further out and 1 " thicker. It will help with stuffing a bit, and overall makes the jeep look a whole lot meaner.

Has anyone ever stuck a cone filter right onto the TB? I can't imagine it would be that hard to fab a heat shield to protect the bottom, then cut a hole in the hood and install a louver thingy to make a ram air or even cowl induction.

I've had Moabs on for a while now. With the 245/75/16 MT/Rs, the hatch still opens. Any bigger and I think you might have to space it out with a few washers.

you won't really cause any problems, but you will have to remove them before you get an inspection.
