Got the F23 balljoint recall done today, rides the same as before (only 4 months old) along with the 10K KM service (about 2hrs of work). No questions from dealer about the web printout, and they told me to just ignore the recall notice when I receive it in the mail (naturally).

You should be okay without the letter. I have the printed copy from the website with my VIN and the F23 announcement. My KJ is going in tomorrow morning for the LBJ replacement while in for the 10,000 Km service.

With the factory hitch, I'm using a 12" drawbar with 2" drop. You have to play a little when putting the trailer on, but it does work. If you can get a 14" drawbar that will give you the perfect clearance. If you can avoid it, don't get a drawbar extension as that will lower the overall hitch...
