I have an factory alarm ?

Lol. I know, but no one can accuse me of not searching! ha ha. I will try that, the one fob almost never gets used so I figured , what is the chance of both going bad the same day? I will check the battery, didn't think about the low voltage causing issues like that.

I have an factory alarm ?

Having this issue right now. Key fob quit working as I was leaving a local business. Had to unlock with the key, horn starts blaring and had to start the Jeep to get it to stop. Thinking my fob's battery was dead, I went home and grabbed the spare key, (the wifes) and same thing. So in a...

    New rubber

Got new Yokohama AT-S wrappers today. 235-65-17. Look great and ride even better. I am very happy with how these handle on the highway so far and the seem to do well in the loose stuff too.

    Noisy 3.7L

Ok, so my original quest was to see if others thought they had valve train noise in excess here. Not so much to be like all of the "other" Jeep boards out there. What I have always liked about this board is most everyones ability to discuss things without flaming the guy who had a differing...

    Engine problems

I still disagree with you as I have experienced this as well as several others just at my dealership. I am sure this is not a "regional" failure just in my area. I am not saying they are all bad I suppose but the likelyhood that you will have a problem with bad valve springs, retainers, valve...

    Engine problems

Good luck, I had one of my 05 Libby's with a very similar problem. I honestly believe from experience and talking to the dealer that Jeep has a serious problem with the 3.7 valve train. Not sure I will be keeping my other Libby now. The other one I got DC to do a buy back on after all of the...

    Noisy 3.7L

My 4.0L weren't this noisy I don't think. Been a while though. I have been driving the wife's Pacifica a lot lately and sure do notice the difference in valvetrain noise between the two, inside and out. Just guess I am getting picky in my old age. lol

    Noisy 3.7L

Anyone else notice the noise level of the valvetrain in the 3.7L to be a little louder than alot of other engines?

3 in 1, Oil on Radiator, Low Steering Fluid, and Rust

Just got the call from the dealer, both hoses are bad, replacing them, and I also had them check the brakes as I thought I had the lt fr caliper dragging. Turns out the rt fr caliper was NOT dragging or doing much else for that matter so a new caliper is required too. Really glad I got the...

3 in 1, Oil on Radiator, Low Steering Fluid, and Rust

No it's not where they're chaffing, I fixed that, but it's where the rubber form the hose goes into the metal swedge part with the fittings. It was a poor swedge job it appears to me. I just called the stealership and they want $117 for the pressure hose. Since I have the ext warr, it will be...

3 in 1, Oil on Radiator, Low Steering Fluid, and Rust

Just noticed my ps hoses are leaking up by the radiator. I am at 44k now and a little surprised. They are leaking at the swedged fitting before the u shaped hard fitting that makes a u turn back to the pump from the ps control unit.

    Tranny Filter

It will run without the O ring, but it will damage the tranny if you do not replace it. Never saw it until the next day when I cleaned the drip pan. I drove 30 miles or so, but was lucky and still haven't had any problems, that was 17k miles ago. Very poor design by Jeep and good luck trying...

    Rotor Removal

Make sure the retainer clips are removed from the front studs first. Then tap the sides of the rotor with a hammer, If that doesn't then tap the face of the rotor with a large deadblow hammer.
