Hi Prospect62 Have a look at your propshift CB joints. Sounds like the same noise that I had a few weeks ago and they traced it to the back CB joint. They had none in stock (15 to 20 day wait) so I end up having to buying a full propshift .

Just to keep you all upto date got my Kj back last night for the agent and they have replaced the "gear lever"for a new one at no cost to myself

Hi MoladoGuy I need to disable the buzzer/chime .As I have a speed alarm (when I go over 72 mph ) on my KJ it works off the same buzzer/chime as the seat belt ,and i need to pull the plug on it .That is why I am posting it Dune

Thanks for all the help ,I have to see if I can find a new BCM or if get a pair of side cutters and find out where the speed alarm is and cut a wire .I keep you all posted as to the fate of the speed alarm or may be a set of ear plugs will be cheaper
