FINALLY LIFTED!! 2004 RENEGADE 4X4 (silver)

LOL! It is! I had a 1998 Pontiac Trans Am. LS1 V8 and posi-trac, and I was always burning out leaving "skid-marks."

One of those gas threads again.(sorry)

I got angry with my 14-16 mpg in mine, but I just had to accept it. A friend of mine at church has a Liberty and get about 21-22 mpg. Its 2wd, but dang! :-s

FINALLY LIFTED!! 2004 RENEGADE 4X4 (silver)

I thought that looked like the Intercoastal Waterway in couple of those pics! We vacation on Crescent Beach every year, and I live in Starke, which is about a 1.5 drive. I love St. Augustine, man! Osteen's is my favorite place to eat there, too. I am glad to see Florida getting...

Looks great, FL RENNY! That wouldn't happen to be Crescent Beach in St. Augustine, would it? (Last pic in the link)

    Great News!!

Jon, I was talking about the H3, the one that came out a few months ago, but I still see your point. The H3 just a cool looking Chevy Colorado in disguise, and the Colorado has been out for a while now. I'd love to see a good 4"-5" lift developed for these things. Even with a 2" lift and...

    SRT GRAND CHEROKEE

Jeep needs to lay off with the 2wd stuff and the IFS set up. When people think of Jeep, they think of 4x4ing a mountain side or something similar, not "pimpin'" the streets. I wanna see solid axels and windshields with almost 0 degree rake.

How cool do your tyres look

I am with you on that! They look even better when they're oversized. I put a set of those in 31" on a 1991 Explorer I had that had a 3" lift, and the squareness just made it look wonderful (even though the paint was faded primer. LOL!). They work quite well, too.

'02 Libs, how many miles do you have on it?

Purchased 2002 Limited 4x4 11/2004 with 38,000. Now it has 62,000. Basically I rolled up to a Kia dealership after my much maligned 1991 Ford Explorer finally died. My nephew noticed the Libby sitting there and I fell in love with it. The only con is that it gets sucky gas mileage for a...

Latest Gas Mileage report... almost 3K miles on my '05 now.

Best I've got is about 16 mpg, and I average 14. It's an '02 Limited 4x4. That's really pathetic. There must be something I can do to remedy this. confused.gif

    Great News!!

Yeah, I didnt think about the drive shafts. So, Eddo, you have a 3" lift on your Lib? How does it perform in daily commuting?

    Great News!!

Have the CV axels been the reason no "real" lift kits are out there? Or is it because they're not in demand? I mean, they've already got 5-6" kits out there for the Hummer H3. :-k

    Great News!!

I hope this isnt a double post, but Rocky Road will bring out new CV Axels in Mid to late 2006, so we will be able to have lifts greater than 2.5" and prevent the whole CV binding, and wont have to deal with the sub frame replacements!! Hurrah!! [-o< \:D/
