Troy, pm sent.... Back on topic….. I own 2 KJ’s (1 still IFS, 1 SFA), both have had traction aids in the diffs and I also owned an XJ w/ traction aids. While the XJ had 31’s on it, it could outperform the KJ in getting through obstacles w/ little effort. W/ 33’s, it isn’t even a contest...- JJsKJ

oil aditives
ticking? knocking? never heard it in either of my KJ's. If you use a good quality oil, there is no need for additional additives.- JJsKJ

Hard water spotting on glass....?
Mr clean magic eraser. Takes some elbow grease but it took some of the lighter hard water spots, that wouldn't move for anything else, off my sons TJ mirrors and windows. I've got to attack it again w/ a new eraser to see if I can get the heavier spots to move. fwiw, it Also worked great at...- JJsKJ

Synthetic oil in an older engine?
94 XJ, Notorious for leaking regardless of miles, (w/ about 165K on it when I got it) Had a RMS leak when bought, Fixed that plus new pan gasket of course, and added Amsoil which has been it's oil since then, now w/ close to 200K on it, and no leaks since the RMS was fixed. No other gaskets...- JJsKJ

Split the difference and run 75w110. I run it in all diffs in all 4 of my Jeeps. Different years specified different weights. Guess the mfg couldn't make up their mind.- JJsKJ
