Help! Need to remove radiator 04 Liberty

Well, I got the radiator out, by unhooking the condenser from the clip on the font of the radiator, before I saw this. I did not want to pull the bumper cover off. I am going to reroute the line across the crossmember, and back toward the junction block. I have new line for this, some copper...

Help! Need to remove radiator 04 Liberty

To 02 Blue: That's not a bad idea. I agree, that would be extremely difficult to reroute in the same place, hence the removal of the radiator. Good thing is that it won't be too bad to bolt back up, since I can access the bolts now with the grill removed. I would need to find another safe place...

Help! Need to remove radiator 04 Liberty

No, I'm referring to the ac condenser bolted to the radiator. The line I need to replace is the line for the right front brake, which is routed from the junction block on the drivers side, to the area behind the front bumper, back to the right front brake hose. Thank you for replying.

Help! Brake hose issue with 2004 Liberty

Thank you for the info. I looked closer at the picture, and yes that line behind the hose has to be the issue. It is probably spraying fluid onto the coupling. Will look at it again in the next day or two.

Help! Brake hose issue with 2004 Liberty

Thanks for the info. Why would there be brake fluid coming out of the coupler when the brakes are applied? Is there such a thing as a hydro boost on this vehicle? This does look like a power steering hose, that's what is baffling.

Help! Brake hose issue with 2004 Liberty

I believe it does. I will check on that tomorrow. Thanks for the manual, this hose looks like it will be fun to change...ugh. Why they made that with a coupler is beyond me. Here's another question: I saw in the manual that you are not supposed to pump the brakes, and that you should start with...

Help! Brake hose issue with 2004 Liberty

My best friend has a 2004 Jeep Liberty Limited, V6, auto, which has developed a brake fluid leak on the drivers side. The brakes went to the floor, and upon inspection, the fluid was coming out of the coupling on this hose. Brake fluid was shooting out of the coupling, and was all over the fan...
