Made one for my own use and it works perfectly.
Without the key being inserted the lighter / outlet is OFF - thus any item plugged in will NOT be powered until the ignition key is inserted and turned ON.
My wife wanted seat heaters for her 2005 Rocky Mountain Edition / found a set on eBay...
I see that there are single-blade connectors available like the one shown below. Have located both the single blade connector (2.8mm width is the same as blades on the mini fuse) and the 12V Car Add-a-circuit Fuse TAP Adapter. But I will end up with 4 EXTRA adapters - SO
Is anyone interested...
SO, how does one go about changing these out? Our 2005 Liberty Rocky Mountain Edition pulls are showing their age (chrome flaking off a couple) ????? I tried to unscrew one (driver's door) no luck / I tried to remove it by using a pair of pliers - no luck - it felt like if I continued I would...
How COOL is that. Wondering how you did the custom fit with such clean lines. Being that I am 72 years old, I think I will get someone to do this for us.
Very intreated in the hood wrap you did / it is just what I am wanting to do. How did you measure for that look? Do you have the pre-install measurements?
PROBLEM SOLVED: Wrote to the supplier of the LED headlight bulb and they replied with an attachment titled SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS. Nothing was included with the original purchase so there was no way to know -
Check out this in case you run into the same situation -
Went to install the new LED headlight bulbs after doing the fog lamps earlier without a hiccup. Then I run into this: How in the heck does one get the lock ring onto the LED bulb? With the wires coming out of the side to the connector I can't get the lock ring installed.
I went and searched...
Today was (1) install the grille / brush guard, (2) install the heated powered outside mirrors, and (3) new headlight and fog light bulbs - on our 2005 Rocky Mountain Edition.
(Sorry for the shaky photo / it was really cold today even in the garage).
After-market, as MOPAR wants what little cash we have left !!! Want BLACK ones since her lug nuts are also black. Just trying to make my wife's Liberty look cool.
My wife has the JEEP today, so I am asking the group exactly what size are the center caps on our 2005 Rocky Mountain Edition with 16" factory wheels. Have read that they are 55.5mm (2-3/16"). Can anyone verify? THANKS.
Finally got to town and got the Liberty vacuumed out after a wash so the new WeatherTech custom floor mats could be installed. Perfect fit / perfect look. Expensive but worth every penny.
2005 Liberty Rocky Mountain Edition - believe that the wiring is all in place for the addition of the steering wheel controls.
Am I right or am I wrong (have not looked yet).
Removed LED interior bulbs (192's) that would never go out completely. Tried the most expensive ones found and they also would not completely go out in our 2005 Liberty Rocky Mountain Edition. Tried the add a resistor but that didn't work either.
Never thought that installing blue LED dome...
These are for my 2001 F150 King Ranch / not the 2005 Liberty. But I went with aftermarket as the OEM were close to 3 times as expensive for the same results. The manufacturer is Evan Fischer. They look well made.
Writing this only because I could not believe the lousy packaging job they did on my order of catalytic converters (right and left sides plus a new muffler).
First off they told me delivery would be by FedEx. Ended up one box was delivered by another unknown method (GLS Trucking) without any...
Can we get back on track here? Appreciate the talk about GROM and other alternatives, but my question is specific - can we make a cable setup that works with the RBK radio like the example shown? Has anyone done this yet? Is there a known reason why this has not been done that I am unaware of?
