    3.7L oil pressure ?

I just finished rebuilding my '02 3.7L with new heads, main and rod bearings, oil pump, pistons and rings. All this due to overheating and dropped intake valve seat on #6 cylinder. I stuck a 100# mechanical gauge in the 1/2 inch port next to the oil pressure sending unit close to the oil...

    3.7 oil pan removal

LibertyTC Yes I had watched that one and was encouraged till I read the 1st comment. "My exhaust was not the same on my 02. I had to remove my y pipe and Jack up the engine to all hell. I also had to cut my old one out because it's bigger then the aftermarket"

    3.7 oil pan removal

Good old YouTube.com would not give me a straight answer so I'm asking this wealth of info. Can I remove and replace the oil pan on my '02, 3.7 without pulling the motor completely out ? I overheated it and dropped a valve seat so both heads are off but I need to replace the damaged piston.

    Clyinder head part number Question

I'm needing a cylinder head due to over heating and dropped valve seat on a 2002 Liberty LTD 3.7L. GROAN. My old head has a cast in # of 53020984 and beneath that is has 9R D. My Q. is the "9R D" portion important or do I just focus on the 53020984 portion ?

    KJ was a TOAD

Whitlow, I have a 2002 Liberty that I plan on dragging behind the motorhome as a TOAD and I'd like to buy those parts if you are going to remove them. I'm not sure about the rules here but how can we get together to chat about this? I'll post a phone number if that's ok.

    plastic peeling off OEM wheels

I did not use the Scotchbrite pads. I'm toying with the idea of using Methyl Ethyl Ketone (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butanone) but that involves $30 and a trip to Home Depot

    plastic peeling off OEM wheels

Goo Gone and Goof Off were both non-starters Heat from her hair dyer was also useless. I suspect the wheel is too good a heat sink for that small amount of heat. Acetone did soften it up enough I could scratch the plastic with a thumb nail but I didn't try scraping or brushing for fear of...

    plastic peeling off OEM wheels

I recently acquired an '02 liberty with what I assume are the original wheels on it. The plastic coating is coming off in various spots making them look terrible. I tried high pressure washing at a really low angle in an effort to get under the coating but still no joy. So can someone clue...

Needed to join this Wealth of Wisdom

I'm retired from the W. Texas oilfields and doing well. :winner_third_h4h: I'm an above average DIYer when it comes to equipment so I know "How to do it" but I don't want to reinvent the wheel and make all my own mistakes so I'm here to learn from you folks. We have a motor home but we...
