I notice every once in a while , when i start my 2012 Liberty the change oil light comes on flickers , until i hit the cancel button. I just had my oil changed 800 miles ago, I still have 2200 miles to go. Should i just reset it , or is something else wrong. Jeep runs great.:shrug:

Thank's all. I'm getting a tow hitch on the rear first soon. Then I'll go with the factory hooks. I only need one for the front.

Hi, all. I have a 2012 jeep liberty Latitude. Are there tow hooks on this model. I plan on using here sometimes on the beach for surf fishing. Do i have to add them. I never had a jeep were the tow hooks were not standard.:shrug:

I have a 2012 Liberty, In the morning when i first take off , I hear a sound like a pump coming on. I have no steering problems, and Liberty normally runs quite. I have no leaks at the P/S pump. Is this normal . Sound dosn,t last long.

Great post, I'm learning a lot. What causes the engine to sludge up. I just bought a 2012 Liberty with 38 k on her. Dealer changed oil at 37,900 , I,m going to change it at 40k and use syntech oil and a good filter. I'm sure dealer used regular oil.

Either way, little bit of steam vapor is probably caused by moisture. Like i said ,i don't see it on dry days. thanks all.

Steam Just a few seconds. Guy i work with who has owned a few jeeps and works on them, said it was normal in wet weather, fog, he said moisture gets under the hood because the way the jeep grill is and when you stop the fan stops, and steam comes out the front grill. I think he is right, I...

P s i Your right. I read 16 psi on line, my rad cap reads 18,psi. But like i said it held at 20. I'll keep a check on the coolant levels for awhile. Thank's all.

Did a psi test today, no leaks detected. system was 18 psi, i pumped it up to 20 psi. psi held steady at 20 psi with no drop at all. Every thing is still bone dry , hoses, fittings. Could it be from the evaporator . I know on my other car with auto a/c it runs the heat through the a/c unit to...
