    Stuck 4-Lo

The bushing was shot. I haven't been able to move the lever past full-time for a while. I recently had the console out and lubricated both 4wd and ebrake cables and could get to neutral and haven't thought about it since then. When I got my license 20+ yrs ago, I inherited my dads 1985 Dodge...

    Stuck 4-Lo

I would LOVE to just get it out of 4wd and repair later- forgive my ignorance-how hard is it to shift by hand? Would I push the cable forward like the lever would or do I have to access the gears?

    Stuck 4-Lo

Hi all I have 02 Liberty 4x4 (selec-trac). I had center console out and inadvertently shifted t-case into 4-lo. Now the lever moves freely and I've read all of the posts and pics I can find on here and I still can't diagnose the issue - bushing or cable. Attaching photos... Please help!

    Help with front end noise

The axle is the only repair I've commissioned purely out of time constraint and frustration. I was led to believe I didn't have options. Knowing what I know now, I will always go the warranty route.

    Help with front end noise

It looks pretty bad. I've already replaced that CV axle and the output shaft. Yay! I get to do it again. I found the noise, though - a metal line was resting on this shaft and the metal-on-metal noise was my wine glass sound.

    Help with front end noise

Development? I have been convinced for weeks the noise was from the driver's front. I have had this jeep on a hoist inspecting various things for two days. The only thing I found was a slightly stuck caliper slide pin. I don't know if it has anything to do with my noise, but I went to...

    Help with front end noise

She has a lot of needs that I can't afford, i.e., bushings, struts, ball joints, lol. I would say I haven't noticed a NEW vibration. The last time I had this noise it was stuck e brake/springs in rear drums. I uploaded vid to YouTube. 5-7 mph, thru my sons' school parking lot. Sorry for...
